Chrome
I have been suffering financial strife and music unfortunately hasn't been a priority. 329458 After getting all those CDs last month now I'm suffering the same! Now I realize it's better to get new music in small amounts regularily, than to get many titles once and then get nothing for several months... Quality-wise it's waaay above pretty much all other "dark psy" stuff out there, in my opinion.

I'm sooooo there! In the mean time we can get cozy with the upcoming Procs album + the Plump Fiction compilation on Yage Records... /DP

Guest The Journey Man Project
Fear Factory - "Transgression" really nice, very different... no cyber metal except for the Killing Joke cover and the last tracks which sounds like something off Archetype album... the U2 cover is nice but he cannot sing, let alone try to be anywhere near Bono, the music rocks tho... quite chilled out for F.F but stil very heavy but any other style... growing up a bit, might be good or could be terrible... Burton needs pro. singing lessons if he is gonna stick with non-death metal vocals... 7/10... would be around 5 but they get +2 for doing something unexpected and the cover rocks

Tox
Gaudium - "Nordic Nature": http://www.discogs.com/release/490914 First artist album on Spiral Trax in a year & the waiting definately paid of! My album of 2005 so far. All those who think Jaïa - "Fiction" is the best progressive to come out this year should also give this baby a listen... Best stuff since Freq's "Strange attractors" imo! Will get to full review when I can find the spare time, so do me a favour & get the ball rolling already? (** DP? **)

DeathPosture
Sigur Rós - Takk... http://www.discogs.com/release/517411 335893 How is it? As good as the first three albums? BangCD has it for £6.99 so I'm definitely getting it... /DP
ukiro
How is it? As good as the first three albums? 335920 It's absolutely fucking stellar. Not the same devastating plunge into isolation and sadness as "( )", but just so... awesome. Truly a worthy follow-up.
Cinos
Recommend me some good Sigur Ros stuff, what I've heard thus far is very bland.
IAMbenjy
sensient - pressure optimal 2005 thought it was a cd to get used to. but their cd before thsi was much better. a smooth progressive minimal ambient with nice guitars and beautifull melodies. this cd is way to tekkie. not much variation and not as beautifull at all . or maybe i just got to listen to it again... While I have yet to listen to "Takk..." more than a few times, I think ( ) will remain their best album for me. If you don't appreciate it, I don't think they're for you at all. And if you think that one is bland... just... wow.

And if you think that one is bland... just... wow. 336421 I agree with Ola... ( ) is simply a breath-taking, emotional rollercoast ride of an album... Drenched in deep, dark, smiling emotions - more pain-staking than anything you'll ever experience... It's a journey of sound - and one of the albums I love the most in my entire collection... ---- In other news, I got a bunch of stuff in the mail today: * V/A - A Pinch Of Psychedelic (Space Tribe Music 2005) http://www.discogs.com/release/476511 * Space Tribe - Thru The Looking Glass (Space Tribe Music 2005) http://www.discogs.com/release/498937 * V/A - Inner Circle (Tribal Vision Records 2005) http://www.discogs.com/release/518108 * Squaremeat - Astronomical Coffee Break (Exogenic 2005) http://www.discogs.com/release/481476 ^ Reviews soon... /DP

The reviews on Metacritic are pretty damn good... /DP
