ukiro
I think you once mentioned TIP22 being pressed onto blue vinyl. Do you know if that is true? 434344 Yes: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=146717 That's my photo, btw. The black one belongs to my girlfriend. BTW, did you use a robot to position those disks with such mirror-like symmetry? ;P I'm glad I am not the only one here who is so fastidious about some things. I still haven't heard of anyone else having a blue one, actually.
Otto Matta
Today I scored myself a MINT copy of: * Technossomy - Synthetic Flesh (Flying Rhino 1997) http://www.discogs.com/release/3719 ... Finally! /DP 433881 Is this considered rare? Even I have this CD (mint). Not really bothered by the collectors value but it is a fucking QUALITY album as were most early flying rhino. love it especially V.T.O.L 434104 Truly a great album, and V.T.O.L. (among my top 5 all-time favorite tracks) puts it into the classic domain for me. I was able to find a copy of the CD a couple of years back for pretty cheap, and it's gotten a lot of use since then. In fact, it's in the stack of about 10 recently played albums next to my stereo as we speak. Nice grab, DP.

One example for me is Cosmosis - Moonshine on yellow and as a picture disk. Clear coloured vinyl is very nice though. I particularly like this one: Mu Clear

devious
Yes 434834 You know the infinity project CD was actually the substance release? I bid on it, then contacted lisaannejameswhatever and she looked and it was the substance label release. So I retracted because I had two copies still in shrinkwrap for sale already which sold for large sums of cash :-D well, the first one got me 24 the second 10.50! which is more than the 6 bucks a copy I paid. Anyways, I *REALLY* do have a copy of The Infinity Project THE LAW EP or FABU005 on it's way now. So I guess I have what everyone calls the infonet ep and now The Law EP! Jeah! MY TIP collection nears completion both as an artist and a label Aaron

You mean, you nearly have everything made by all the artists involved on TIP?!? surely you jest 434965 TIP - the infinity project - that's what I'm refering to, not every artist on TIP Records. I am just saying I have almost everything from TIP Records! Releases, vinyl and CD. I really could use GMS Growly Family on vinyl and CD and Orich/deviant too on vinyl. bah. Anyways, jeah. I'm just particularly happy about having mostly all the vinyl for the group "tip" not the label "tip" same thing, different objective. teehee. niobium
Ubar Tmar - Live which is stunning. The artwork would take me about 30 minutes of typing to explain properly but basically: the sleeve is tiled with a set of Penrose's tiles, but even more striking is the fact that on the CD itself is another aperiodic tiling onto the Hyperbolic Plane which is just a really fascinating idea. (to me) Typically tilings of the Hyperbolic Plane are depicted on a circle and the artist has used the CD's circular shape to exploit this. Ubar Tmar - Eigou Kaiki which is stunning. Again the cover is is tiled with Penrose tiles - this time it is the Darts & Kites. THIS which is stunning The artwork is soooo beautiful. It is all chrome against white with intricate 'impossible' escheresque figures and such.. THIS which is stunning.
DeathPosture
Did you find an Equinox source somewhere? If so, please share.. Oh, and you seem to be taken with the artwork - but how's the music? Also, all those CD could use some better scans on Discogs/PsyDB.net... Do you have a scanner? /DP

Do you have a scanner? /DP 435197 DP, I am so excited about these ones in particular that yes I will certainly make some 300kB scans for Discogs. The Strong Sun Moon release has a poster inside of the gatefold digipak with very interesting art as well. The EQUINOX logo, I don't know if you have seen it, but it is just remarkable looking...difficult to describe. The music I haven't gotten to yet because I have been examining Ubar Tmar's non-musical content for mathematical patterns. For example: Patterns So I am trying to dissect his stuff bit by bit. I will contact you about the disks.

DeathPosture
Actually, The Strong Sun Moon already has some quality scans on PsyDB.net - so it would be kinda futile to scan that again... But if the rest are as good as you say, I'd love to see some quality scans of 'em... /DP
