Prio Alea
Is it just me or does it sound like David Duchovny speaking the lyrics?
Tox
You are correct! As I recently found out through this very site, the sample comes from the movie "Kalifornia". One of the biggest secrets of my life resolved
Dragonflier
Indeed. I watched the movie not knowing the lyrics was sampled from it, and was kind of stunned. Cool sample as well.

Hippie
wow, every time you find out something new... i thought it was David's special guesting only for this track, hehh.. have to find that movie
Lemmiwinks
have to find that movie well the movie itself is pretty crap though... 6/10 at best anyway, maybe you people can resolve my life-long mystery: anyone noticed how similar that sample from Kalifornia is to the one in the Matrix? (Ever have that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming? It's called Mescaline. It's the only way to fly.). That and the fact that the dialogue itself doesn't fit at ALL in the movie... why talk about mescaline when it's a movie about virtual reality? MattMan
Well, I always thought it fitted because, well, with meskaline, you get the feeling you can fly, you get the feeling of something more profound, just as Neo is about to feel when he's jacked into the real world.. But damn, now I wanna see "Kalifornia"
grahf
Hmm, well according to Carlos Castenada, you really can fly with the correct concoction of psychotropics (datura root, yikes). But I wouldn't try that without the guidance of a Yaqui sorcerer.
