Manuser Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Yes. And boring too. Keep in mind I dislike all stuff that reminds of this. 272353 you know i don't really like Texas Faggott psy either, but i certainly would not calling it monotonous. Choose the right words then. Quote

Insejn Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 I think Hidria Spacefolk is from Finland. They play some Ozric-kind-of music. Haltya is also good. Quote
Trolsk Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 All I've heard is boring monotonous stuff (it's my opinion!) like Texas Faggott, Mandalavandalz, Highpersonic Whomen... 272331 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Texas Faggott and monotonous in the same sentance!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Btw, I just remembered that there's a Mandalavandalz remix of Angelic Particles, it's called Otteen Otti. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Monotonous!!! Quote
Trolsk Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 You could also try Torakka's Far Out Express, but that might be too much neo full on or something to your ears. Monotonous!!! Quote
Cinos Posted June 4, 2005 Author Posted June 4, 2005 No melodies, no twists = monotonous. Will try Torakka. Quote
PsyGoatDelic Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 squaremeat pelinpala eraser and yojalka maybe bit too harsh Quote
Anoebis Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 No melodies, no twists = monotonous. Will try Torakka. 272426 woow, No Cinos, you must be kidding! The last album of Texas Faggot is almost twisted new school goa trance! lots of layers (for some too much I'm sure), acid-lines, twisted sounds everywhere, fast and super psychedelic! And how can you call Mandalavandalz monotonous! I would even say there's more variation in it is as Shpongle! Don't get me wrong, I understand that you don't like it, as it is really extreme psychedelic music... but montonous? No Melodies? NO TWISTS? that's not true Quote
PsyGoatDelic Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 im with Joske here also try O*men and Midillitto(!!!) (almost sure midillitto is finn... but not sure about o*men) Quote

This includes most finnish psy, The Delta and X-Dream. As compared to, say, Transwave, Green Nuns, and Filteria. (plus Juno Reactor, hallucinogen, astral projection, UX, and hell, even Planet BEN) See the difference? Quote
DeathPosture Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Though I never really got deep into Finnish trance, I like the occasional freak-show... Texas Faggot, Haltya, Kiwa and Squaremeat are my fav'es and I also got immense pleasure from the Luomuhappo album Pog-O-Matic Pogómen 3000000 ... Definitely worth a listen! DP Quote
Alek Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 monotonous 1. lacking in variety; tediously unvarying: the monotonous flat scenery. 2. characterizing a sound continuing on one note. 3. having very little inflection; limited to a narrow pitch range. So you see you were wrong, it's not an oppinion, it's a fact... while you could have easily said "not my taste"... Anyway, check this mp3 comp - http://www.elixiria.com/private_message/ Apart from that Egosentrifug/Huopatossu Mononen for start.... you will probably not like antiscarp, but probably will Cosmic Storm Cloud... mikseri.net for president! Spindrift Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 im with Joske here also try O*men and Midillitto(!!!) (almost sure midillitto is finn... but not sure about o*men) 272444 Midilitto and O-men is sure finns. Midilitto is "the MIDI union (as in workers union)" in finnish. O-men is Pepe from Squaremeat and someone else what I recall And cinos....finnish music has no variation???? Either you do not have ears or cannot grasp the english language. I know people who complain that it's too much happening in finnish music and think it's all over the place....but to call it "monotonus" is just wrong. Thats it..I don't care about your definition of the word and how you percive things...to call it monotonous is ridicolous. Quote

They fit together really well! Very intense Quote
Cinos Posted June 4, 2005 Author Posted June 4, 2005 What part of IMHO don't you understand, Spindrift? IMHO it is indeed boring and monotonous. You can't discuss it! Quote
