One last thing though,Spindrift i advice you to stop insulting and speaking ironic to people in public (you are the one that started all once again by insulting Kristian and later on me),especially to people that you dont know in personal,cause one day in real life someone is not going to be as calm as me and will spank you for good.

That exposure productions sound more fitting for a gay club music label is not something you should take as an insult, it's just my honest association about the name.

I guess this discussion have been quite symbolic of many wars start with the strife for good and getting rid of what some individuals perceive as bad.

If you realise that you have to accept that creation is dependent on different forces, like god and devil, you become more accepting towards what you don't understand.

If you claim to know what is good based on your personal perspective you will be inclined to fight what is not part of that good...ie bad.

Thats how many wars and conflicts starts.

If you look at religions where they also worship the dark forces like hinduism you usually find the people is more tolerant than in monoteistic religions like christians, jews and muslims.

 

And DETOX makes the perfect example of this....if people question that what he percives as evil is bad he gets upset and would like to get violent.

You should look inside yourself for the evil and try to understand and recognise it instead of projecting it on record covers.

detox... firstly.. you are judging too much..  if I understood you correctly, you say EVERYBODY using the devil is just for advertisement.. did you make a psychological analysis and/or questioned them about it ?  How can you know so much? maybe, and probably, some of them use it because they are on a specific part of their life that they need to express the darker sides of themselves, and its a creator factor, not JUST advertisement... if you had studied psychology, you would know that facing and incorporating the darkside in ourselves is one of the most important phases of our psychic development.

 

and secondly, 'dark' images such as monsters, devils and demons are not necessarily a 'bad' thing, and actually at times its a very 'good' thing from a psychological and creative point of view, for the reasons noted above, so they dont give a 'bad' name to trance, just as seemingly 'light' images in cds dont necessarily give a 'good' name to trance

I don't know where the fuck this thread went. I'm about the nicest guy you could meet, but I feed my dark side. I don't think anyone is taking satanism very seriously in psytrance - it's just a solid source of atmosphere. This music is about taking you places, right? I've always loved Xenomorph's tracks because they take the darkness to an extreme, just as there are extremely melodic/uplifting artists. Psychedelic trance is an enjoyable movement to be a part of precisely because there is such a wide range of moods and styles available to the devotee. Bring on the satanic trauma trance, I say!

 

This outlook is why you will find, in the same order, the new Jaia alongside something such as Para Halu's (which I must listen to soon)... not so common, is that?

Let's set things straight... most of the artitsts who use satanic names have listened to cheesy music like Cradle of Filth and Slayer (South of Hell was a take on their track by Wintr Demon I think)... now these groups are nice heavy metal, but don;t go much deeper than Metallica... Xenomorph listenes mostly to industrial music which has more to do with Socialism than Satanism as does his music, it might try to be occultits but I think it's very lame Satanic music... if you want to hear stanic music I suggest you go an listen to the latest album by Noridc Metla heads Mayhem, Destroye 666 and Carpathian Forest... these guys actually do burn down chuches, they actual do perform Satanic Rituals and they have murdered former band memebrs... Psy Trance Devil Worhsipping? Pfffffttt it's more like little nerdy guys who used play air guitar in the bedroom fulfilling their wet dreamsof being in Slayer, it's a joke, a bad joke... Um actaully seeing as I have done my Masters thesis on Pagan and Satanic Rituals and their relevance in the Nordic Black Metal scene, I have some intensive knowledge on what these bands have done, and why. They are not idiots, unless you also count every other religion. They are actually deeply religous people, as much as as a Jew nad often more so than Catholics and Muslims... they are a small group who preach through music as music was often the method of worship used by Pagans and Satanists in times gone by... the murders were oftne done out of neccissity to keep the religion active, just as a lot of Muslims and Catholics and Jews have done throughout history... their religious believes may not be what you like, you make think it is idiotic, but it is even more so to say things like you did without even checking out the facts. George Bush would be proud of the likes of you, similar attitude. Myabe you should research something before you make comments, it might show yu some truth. I have a partner who has a very obvious physical disability, and these people judged her not at all, unlike a lot of people in this scene and in society in geral who openly publicly abuse who or will not even come near her.

Um no I have been to these countries and spken to the groups and done 3 years reasearch into... I know what I am talking about. The funny thing is that even though I have done this research you all prefer to stick to stories and myths surrounding something that is very simple. As I said, if you bother to check things out in depth and not read stories in newspapers, heavy metal magazines and what your local priest says, you ight learn something. The responses to what I have said really show how uneducated society is... I have met and spoken to members of the group "Mayhem"... and they are very nice people. Seriosly, grow up.
