Daze Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 I finished this song yesterday, I would really like some feedback! URL: http://www.rb-servers.nl/daze/Daze%20-%20Battery.mp3 Thanks in advance! / Daze Quote
Time_Trap Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 which appz did you use to make it? nice atmospheric dark psychedelic track m8 i think you should change the lead sound that gets in at about 4.10 or something.,.. musically it's nice, i like the melody,[gets boring though after a while] but i think you should tweak the sound/delay/reverb effects, make it sound more complex and richer... also add some more weird effects from parts to parts to make it more interesting hope my feedback was kinda constructive Quote
Daze Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Thanks man! Very nice feedback, I'm gonna work on what you said and update this track, cause I agree on all points. I am using Fruityloops at the moment, with a bunch of VST's. The baseline is made with Audiorealism Bassline, and the pad and lead is made with Vanguard. I also use Soundforge and Hip Hop eJay for detail editing of effect sounds, and I use the effects from Waves VST package a lot! I think that's it Quote
Daze Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Okay the track is now slightly updated. Not much change... but I added some effects and made the lead a bit more "full" Quote

Daze Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Hehehe Well like I said I really didn't change a lot, but it's not like I can stop you, eh? Quote
Time_Trap Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 ok redownloaded , didnt notice much changes tbh... well i think you should try distorting the lead sound that enters at 4:10 [you could add a chorus/flanger or unison or scream4 or other effects]... btw at certain points you could mute the kick playing and do a snare/drums lot so that you give more emphasis on the change... just dont overdo it. keep it up.
