My project's moving along really well.

 

I have a couple more questions:

 

How would you describe the following elements and their importance to psytrance versus other music styles?

-the artwork

-the sound

 

Could you describe these elements in the psytrance context? --why they are appropriate to it?

 

What, and why are the differences in the scene in the United States versus europe, the far east, or central/south america?

 

I realize they are very open questions and somewhat of an elementary level, but am interested in people's personal take on them because while we may be thinking the same things, when we write them down they come out different.

ok, I belive that throu psychedelics you can transmite messages or acces to other people's mind eazyer. That's why I think mandalas, incriptions and other forms of saccred art from ancient civilistations are kind of psychedelic indee... that and the use of some psychedelic plants, seeds and roots to have a spiritual connection or mind opening for sevral proposes.

Starting from that point I think artwork is an important part in the psy-context.

The Tibbetan Monks use to belive that mandalas can carry good vibe and protect you from bad spirits, that and the propose of the mandala which was to open your mind and some other things...

In a party, I belive that mandalas and other kind of artwork/visuales are important to open your mind, recreate, transmite some messege in some codificate/inteligent form, to decorate and create certain atmosphere/moods in people, etc.

however. take a good look at south american indian, Buddhistic and Hinduistic arts, and there u have it
