hi there.. i seek info on the etchings you sometimes see in the gutter of a record! i have a bunch, and there's some on psymindexpander2000 but, well.. there's that whole teeming mass of the public out there, maybe some of you know?

here's one i found this morning on my copy of juno reactor's "beyond the infinite"

YOU HAVE TO HAVE CHAOS IN YOUR HEART..

IF YOU WANT TO GIVE BIRTH TO A DANCING STAR

(a lost cause, i know... but worth a try)

yeah... those are just the names of the people at the pressing plant, the name of the plant itself, or something of the like. they appear on a lot of records. you also see "the exchange" and a bunch of other names... so, not quite the same thing ;)

thanks though...

what's on that wide004r record though? i'm curious.. i have very little information on wider records. i just recently found out that pharmarama = oood...

Wide004 - very old. Released back in july 1996, its a promo version? of Mozaic and Kerfuffle by Squid (Tim healy) and Streamer... I dont know which side is which, so that annoying.. one track is great (quite fast, but very cool) and the other is more average.

Problem is here at university i dont have any decks so i cannot play the records, i have to wait a few weeks before i hear them again.

RumZ (does this damont guy have to scratch every record press!?!?) :D

NP : Lemurians - Toycircus

Tristan - Stalking The Wild Controller says: "two belters from the big man himself".

Mindfield - Let's Get Stoned... says "mastered by Martin at CTS, Wembley".

Good job, Martin! You get a dogbiscuit...
