In my sequncer that uses MIDI i only can do a little pitch bend.. How can i slide notes (more then one tone) in cubase?? or in any other program?? in my thight i think its related to the sampler and not to the sequncer.. am i right?? is there a WAV sampler that support notes spliding?? thank you VERY MUCH!!! sorry for my english.. chiragkotak
hi.. i use fruity.. as far as i know i dont thing u can use slide/portamento on samples and general midi and soundfonts.. only with fruity generators(synths).. also some vst synths come with a slide or porta feature.. maybe u can use this featureon a sample by loading it into fruity granulizer.. i dont know about cuebase... auryn
Hi in reason it´s possible. I don´t know any vst samplers myself, but I´m sure they can do it as well. First, you need to switch the polyphony to 1 (otherwise your you can play several different notes at a time, thus you can't slide from one note to the next) then you need to turn up the `portamento` knob/slider - the higher the value the longer it takes for one note to `slide´ to the next note you´re playing. good luck. Guest
use a tracker and evetything willbe possible with samples btw man If u cant find this funckion in cubase ... dont look for it. Just use some pro tools like Native KONTAKT - or another graet sampler. U can make anything there.
