I guess it can, but not in a Goa way, you know with powerful melodies etc.

The only minimal I like is some dark old tech stuff from Midi Miliz but I can't vote both for it.

 

Of course I mean Dance music. Cause minimal, atmospheric ambient like Master Margherita or Ishq can be good!

Maximal or in between, minimal is only good in small doses, and most of the minimal stuff i like is very 'dark'. It gets really boring if you try listening to a whole album of it IMO

The old classic discussion from 2001... But for me the vote clearly goes to maximal. I personally can't stand minimal sounds, it all sounds the same to me. In between (progressive I guess) is also ok, but I like maximal sound the best (I would also consider Hallucinogen to be maximal, not only the full-on stuff).

okaaay ... if you define MOS as minimal then my vote clearly goes to minimal - because even MOS sound quite maximal to me at times...

 

Mmmh ... actually something in between is okay too ... maybe even some maximal at times for special high energy moments ... but overall seen I'm more on the minimal side
