Järsimähäiriö
Droidlock's album is to be released tomorrow by Kagdila Records. Does anyone know anything about this obviously new label? Can't wait to get my hands on this supposedly great piece of plastic.
Järsimähäiriö
...to answer my own question, it appears that it's nothing less than a Los Angeles (!!!) -based label, and Droidlock's is their first album-release.
Guest dam10n
they were doing distribution for agitato and a coupel of other european labels, but the relationship didnt work too well. A lot of people have had bad experiences with Kagdila. Certainly don't send him any money. And the droidlock album is nice )

Järsimähäiriö
Hmm, I wonder when we are going to get that album in europe... Soon I hope. Droidlock is of that rare species of artists that seldom or never come up with a "bad" track, all his material is way above the average. Guest Inu
Heh... Shuki, the head of Kagdila Records, played across the street from my house (I live in L.A.) for an Israeli-independence block party last month. I loaned him a few CD's to spin; got them right back after the party. So my "experience" with Kagdila has been good! Business-wise, I don't know... he might be a terrible businessman, but I know that he takes his music seriously!
Guest DHYA
Hi there ... short note to say that Kagdila rec has been cool with me , obviously a young label but i could feel lot of motivation and passion for teckno trance music (enougth to let them care of the DL alb )... By the way i hope u will enjoy this new alb ... througth 'it' guests ( Dino , Paps etc ) , the alb cross different type of trance music today , sometime "groovy" and sometime "full on"... LOADSALOVE to everybody ...

Guest psychotropic
We've been buying stuff from them for close to a year. Never had a problem. Fast deliveries, never had any money issues and Shu-ki is one of our good customers as well. Don't know why people are talking shit about Kadgila, our scene is so small there is no need to spread rumours and try to destroy someone who is putting up money, time and effort to bring us a new release. I guess whoever is talking crap is VERY jealous of this new release, the more they talk the more proof we have it is true. Take your negative energy and do something better with it like create music or feed the hungry. I dont know, there must be something better you can do... -psychotropic / trancetrax.com
Guest tom
i know shu-ki rather well and have been working with him for the last year or so. This man has been distributing music as Kagdila for quite a few years. He supplies some of the best psychedelia to many shops and smaller distributors throughout the world and has yet to disappoint his customers and the labels whose music he carries for sale, as some of the previous posts have indicated. Also, just like in a previous reply, jealousy is often a cause for people to talk shit along with personal vendettas. If these couple people claim to have had a bad experience and 10 others post positive replies, you have to use your own judgement. This album is Kagdila's first full-lenght ARTIST LP, his goal has been to distribute like he has been doing for years, but also to help release other artists on his own record label because he has a knack for helping fresh artists get in touch with the global community. Right now shu-ki has a couple more incredible producers lined up for their very first releases, so stay tuned because this new music is very innovative and will really open the ears to everybody about USA psy-trance. As far as Shu-ki's dedication, lets just say that he has been working on producing this Droidlock album for a LONG time and put all other projects on hold because he knew how special this release was going to be. He does this because he has been involved in the Trance scene for almost 10 years as a dj and contact between labels and retail shops and he put a lot of effort in producing this album with droidlock to make it as spectacular as it is. With that said, how can you judge somebody if you haven't had any experience with the person or business? Give him a shot, because its really hard to be in business as long as kagdila has, if you treat your business contacts with disrespect. Just keep that in mind when listening to this awesome release and the many more to come in the future. thanks for your time
Guest fractalien
Shu-ki from Kagdila is one of the nicest people i have met in the trance scene. I have done business with him for a few years and he always delivers in a good time period and gives really fair prices. The new droidlock rocks... so buy it! -fractalien @ ChaosExistence.com
Guest jojo
Well. I wonder about all this when people begin to rag on other people. I would have to say that, when talking about a label which has been in business as long as Shuki has, there are going to be friends and foes. It seems to me that humans have yet to find the chemical link that controls the base anger and flow love through their souls. Everyone wants a piece of the cake. The cake is big enough. There is no need for fighting. Shuki and I have been doing business for years now. I have had various problems with him, and none of them were about business. The problem is that Shuki walked into my office with a hundred CD's and a hundred twelve inches and gave them to me. Just like that. No questions. No stories. I love you J. He said. This is all I have in music. Take it. That was almost four years ago. So I have been designing and creating various things for Shuki and Kagdila ever since. Let the music talk. If it sucks. Don't buy it. It is that simple. It is all a matter of individual taste anyway. With that said. I would have to say that I respect any person that supports the global psychadelic movement. All people that produce the music and distribute it. Keeping the masses dancing and most of all, carring the spirit of trance into the future of our species. Don't get stuck in small spaces. Move on to greater things. Something is coming.
Guest Psyberpunker
I heard also some strange rumours about Kagdila, I think this is like offen: stupid jealousy,... and I don't care about this blablablaaaa because this young label is coming each year better,.. ) their first productions was too cheasy for the psyberpunk scene,... but the news realease he's got are excellent: I recommeand to everybody: the Acid Germs compilation: the Skazi "expose" is one of my favorite track of last year... the GMS "chees balls" & the "telepatic atmosphere" of Talamasca on his "digital Alchemy compilation are fucking brillant blasting track... Go on Shu-ki, your music choices are always better ))) let people talk... karma will finish to change them ;o) don't stop to do your best for the psy-community and good luck!!! PS. the Droidlock is kicking, in europe it's available on databass music/ Paris... (databass@wanadoo.fr ) more info about droidlock???: check: droidlock@aol.com PEACE
Guest dj homsy
Bom, business level: I have been working with kagdila rec. & Shu_ki, he has been distributing our releases - They works efficiantly always keep their word, pay on time etc... Personal level: Shuki is one of the nicest people this scene has to offer, proffesional, kind, modest and honest. As posted above in a couple of posts gelous and ugly people are every where & maybe in each of us (each in his own portions :-) ) What we need to do as readers, viewers etc.... is 2 be smart not to be fooled by rumers and start understanding that when we talk bad on a person we might hurt his feelings but when we DIS a company its outcomes might be disastrous. Bare that in mind Trance brothers, and Shu-ki keep on doing what you do best, keep up the great work, Have fun in the sun....
