voomzap
i don't know - well, djs have been remixing tracks since adam and eve. but psy artists remixing ex MTV hits? 2 words: fuck off. 319338 Waiit!! MadeInRealtime
ok, i listened to that song. 2 words: "fuck" and "off". remixing songs like these should be against the law. no matter if the remix comes out a good track or a sucky one ... it's just annoying. 319186 i've nothing more to add
Basilisk
Closer is such a different kind of thing... a brilliant remix, for once. But you gotta look at the source material here. MC Hammer? Fuck off is right. Not to mention that I think Gataka sorta sucks... poppy israeli full-on garbage vs ultra killer south african madness... no question what's bettah. I think I am seeing a pattern here. Remixing 80s and 90s euro, dance, and pop = very questionable. Remixing 90s industrial and metal = some good results! (south of hell, rain, closer) Remixing 90s rave, techno, and trance = hmm, really not sure. I think Shift is 3 for 3 as far as remixes go... undoubtably the remix king. Nine Inch Nails, Age of Love, and Megadeath, all successfully remixed. Killah.

Guest Kai-Q
Remixes or coversongs from pop- and rocksongs are anyway ridiculous. It dosen't matter who makes it.

Cinos
The next fucker to complain about Tiesto gets my foot up their ass, shoe and all, unlubricated. The fact is, psy remixes of anything, especially metal, suck.
moni
Cinnie, don't get so angry you're cute when you're angry i like Tiesto, if it makes you feel better. also Paul Van Dyk has some really nice songs.

Though PvD only has made one song to my taste: Avenue.

Tatsu
no words but deeds you all if you want to discuss some unreleased then place a link, and make sure you know what you talking about, cuz this is leading us nowhere now does it? check this HALLUCINOGEN IN DRUM & BASS for example... Hammertime, you CAN touch this. 319326 I really like that remix!! Remixes or coversongs from pop- and rocksongs are anyway ridiculous. It dosen't matter who makes it. 319369 But I guess this is exactly the point with most remixes. I mean the MC Hammer remix is fucking funny, I don't think it wants to be taken serious. Same goes for 1200 Mics remixes I think.

You want listeners to not have the type of songs they like to listen to just because they were MTV hits? You can just not listen to those tracks and let them exist instead of denying those who like them to listen to it Be kind.
Towelie
the reason i dislike these shitty remixes is not because its somehow against the holy rules of psytrance or whatever blabla .. its because its so disrespectful for the origianll songs.. leave them alone or atleast use little more than half hour to 'remix' them

Trolsk
check this HALLUCINOGEN IN DRUM & BASS for example... Hammertime, you CAN touch this. 319326 Good tune, but I don't see how it's a remix of Gamma Goblins. AFAIK, it contains no elements from Hallucinogens tune besides the melody. The melody is from a piece of classical music called In the Hall of the Mountain King written by Edvard Grieg . But I guess more people will download something they recognize...
