RAH
pro·duce Audio pronunciation of "produce" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-ds, -dys, pr-) v. pro·duced, pro·duc·ing, pro·duc·es v. tr. 1. To bring forth; yield: a plant that produces pink flowers. 2. 1. To create by physical or mental effort: produce a tapestry; produce a poem. 2. To manufacture: factories that produce cars and trucks. the way i see it production is synonymus with creation... you create a track, you produce a track... is it suppose to be harder than that? Stalker
explain production like you explain 'what is cheezy ?? ' 319249[/snapback] cheezy is poor and predictble melodies, and i am not talking about production skills, i am talking about musical skills it doesnt have to do with being morning or happy, it has to do with musical structure some melodies has a expected formula that our brains are used to hear and can easily recgonize its flow, wich pretty means that is predcitble and simple wich means that is cheezy music there for is cheezy production

moni
i just want to point out that usually we're talking about 2 things: 1. music production - made by the artist through his creative, personal work 2. album production - made by the label by putting the artists' production on material support and issuing the album/compilation/release. it's about the product production = process that gathers all the basic resources (capital, material, manpower, etc etc etc) and all the activities needed and to obtain the final product. Daniël
I always see good production as good sound quality. But good production doesn't mean it is good music. Good music can also have a bad production, bad sound quality.
