Quark
Hey Peops I having problems with reversing things in Reason 3.0. I don't know, if it is possible, but I would be glad if someone could help me. Take care Tore
Rupture
uhh sorry what do u mean with "reversing things"?Like the "undo" function?or applying Reverse sound effect to samples and/or sounds? well, for the Undo function go to Edit ---» Undo if you want to reverse samples just like they are I don't think it's possible to do it with Reason, but you can try with Wavelab or Goldwave and then open again with R. ...oh you can add a Reverse kind-of effect, just use the reverb RV7000.click on the "Remote Programmer" arrow,a display will appear, use the first upper left knob to select the kind of reverb.the "algorithm reverse" effect is the last one. I hope I helped keep it up and good luck!
Shaft
Audacity has a reverse function, it's free too
Rupture
thanks Shaft, didn't knew!got to check it ohh just remembered now,Reason has this kind of "bug",probably that's what happening with you Quark. if you tweak any knob using the mouse, you can undo the change with no problems.but if you are using a midi controller (like I am) and u change the same knob on reason, but now using a knob/fader from the midi-contr. u can't undo that. I noticed this when I accidentaly changed the values of an NN-19 when I wanted to work with a subtractor...dunno if it's a midi controller problem/reason bug...just dunno any of u guys experienced this? sundrop
you can reverse with the NN19 use the loop knob would be great if Redrum had reverse switch.
Digital Psyence
would be great if Redrum had reverse switch. 320203 Agree! its annoying to have to export everytime u want to reverse. But its still my favourite sampler! love that it can open rex-parts
Guest
The rv7000 advanced reverb has a option to reverse the sound. enjoy
Guest
you can reverse with the NN19 use the loop knob would be great if Redrum had reverse switch. 320203 loop knob is not for reversing samples. when you press a key, the sample could sound by 3 ways: 1) from the start to the end 2) like 1) but looping so the sound never ends until you quit the finger of the keyboard 3) from the beggining to the end, and when the end arrives go to the start and again to the end and again to the start, the sound changes... I readed somewhere that NN-XT can also do it, but never tried--
Guest
use NNXT and place the sample in the SAMPLE EDITOR lower window to keymap it when in the sample editor you can play around with the sample. select play mode then select The sample in the zone will play only once, without looping. FW-LOOP The sample will play from the sample start point to the loop end point, jump back to the loop start point and then loop infinitely between the start and end loop points. This is the most common loop mode. FW - BW The sample will play from the sample start point to the loop end point, then from the loop end point to the loop start point (backwards), and then loop infinitely forwards-backwards between the start and end loop points. FW-SUS This works like FW-LOOP with the exception that it will only loop as long as the key is held down. As you release the key, the sample will play to the absolute end of the sample, that is beyond the boundaries of the loop. This means that the sound may have a short natural release even if the release parameter is raised to a high value (which is not true for “FW-LOOP”, where the release parameter always controls the length of the sound after the key is released). BW The sample will play only once - from the end to the beginning - without looping. backwards ...!reversed
