Basilisk
anyone know where the track "the circle movement" is released? i've had it on my HD for a long time, but i can't for the life of me remember where its from (and more importantly - where the vinyl is .. its a wicked beautiful song, very pleasant, just my kind of thing for certain times... not as good as 'northern star' but damn, i'm impressed that 12 moons is making very epic/uplifting goa trance with a lot of depth (much more depth than the new human blue i would say)... anyhow spare me the piracy lecture.. if this were on 12" i'd buy three copies immediatly. and chuuu kn0w this, maaan *puff puff*
Guest Jaimz
Hey Basilisk, It's the first track on the Day CD of the Night and Day compilation on Transient. Oh, and dude, you should start thinking about quitting your vinyl crusade. Learn to mix CDs. Expand your horizons. Hail Eris, Jaimz.
Guest Lurk
shuddup jaimz, its not a crusade, its an addiction and like all addictions it is very painful to give up ;-)
Guest Jaimz
I'm not saying he should stop buying vinyl. Indeed, I think he should buy more, more, MORE! Vinyl is good. Your average vinyl release is a lot better than the average CD release, in my opinion. But I do think he should stop bitching about things not being released on vinyl that are released on CD. Do you see us CD whores bitching about stuff that's released only on vinyl? No. And why? Because we're all sleeping with supermodels, that's why! CD = supermodel girlfriends. Vinyl = bad skin complexion. Both proven facts.
Basilisk
stuff released on vinyl can easily be ported to cd format... it doesn't work the other way. i actually do buy cds... some i find to be essential, despite there being no vinyl. power source's album is a good example - how could i live without it?! nonetheless, most of the time i'll find a track i REALLY like (such as this 12 moons one) and it'll be on some shitty compilation i wouldn't spend 2 dollars on (such as that transient album) and damn that infuriates me CDs are FAR too expensive for what you get, unless the music is unreasonably good (i bought the 3rd digital psionics disk for example! killer!).. ah well... another one for the .wav mafia.
