Look... if I and SERAPH of all persons agree on something, it has to be true. I mean seriously.

there's no logic in that. "If I and.... it has to be true" It's just unlogical statement from redneck-internet-geek-kinda-guy

No, it's pure logic. If two people who have different values, views and opinions agree on something, the chance that it's true it pretty high.

haha :D your a funny fellow cinnie :)

you always make these statements about different things but I've yet not seen you back them up. What kinda proof can you give me to these statements? As far as I can see you can't really give any. Prove me wrong. :)

no need for proof. this is not maths :P

i agree with Cinos on this to an extent :]

of course "true" is completely relative...

but still, IMHO Spiritual Healing is not goa defnition :o no damn way.

"what proof do you have that spiritual healing is not goa?"

it's still subjective... yet relatively objective B) i cant say that MFG are progressive trance... or that Future Sound Of London are fullon :D

the fact you, seraph and cinos say it's not a goa track does not make it an objective matter. the only conclusion you can draw knowing these opinions, is that three people think the same way. I've heard the track many times, and more than anything, it's goa even if it's a bit different from the usual goa sound.

But anyways, as I see it's completely a matter of opinion, how to define soundwaves, there's no right or wrong here. :)

we are talking about the track or the whole album?

So if i say that Britney Spears is "Dark psy" you cant say it's right or wrong either ;)

Ergo, not goa. Or perhaps we SHOULD go by this logic... Tiesto is goa, except different from the usual goa sound.

there are some elements that define music into some genre.

But when talking about 'Spiritual Healing' (the track) it's not such an obvious case. It's a bit more slow-paced and dream-ish track when compared to more, should I say "mainstream" goa.

It's not a goa definer for me either, but it'd be wrong to say it's melodic trance cause the similarities to goa are more there than similarities to melodic trance.

Shakta - Lepton head (Deedrah remix) represents goa music perfectly.

As for Spiritual healing (the track) it's clearly a mix between melodic trance and goa, certainly not pure goa, i even sorted it in my melodic trance folder (i love that track by the way).

Goa Head Vol. 3

Nice one! Too bad the 'artwork' rather screws the mood of it, to me that is.. it doesn't fit at all! All the blue and green and those cactus leaves... ugly stuff
