Guest
Friday October 7th... Organix Presents... Triptych (dj set) Turbo Trance, France Triptych is Charles Michaud from France. He got into the world of music from a young age, it started at the age of 8 when he was playing the piano and studying music theory. At 15 he formed a 70's style psychedelic rockband playing guitar with Vincent Courcot, known under the name Tretraktys. He started a sound engineering course in Paris, and now beside music he's also working as a sound engineer in cinematography. In 1998 he gave up rock for psychedelic trance and started djing. Then he met Johannes Reigner (a.k.a Silicon Sound) with whom he started the “Walhalla” project. Their first tracks were discovered very soon and released by several French labels, and later also by foreign ones. In the summer of 2001 his solo project Triptych was born, presenting a style that was even more psychdelic and especially more funky. He has already played live show all over the world and released lot of tracks on several compilations from labels among the best in the Psy-trance scene like T.I.P, Transient, Nano, Mind control, Alchemy, Shiva Space, Enzyme, etc...and of course the french label Turbo Trance on which he already released 2 albums : "Lost Paradises" and "Electrology" His music takes another direction in psytrance music, caracterized by an effective mixture of groovy rhythmics, warming basslines, powerfull breaks and ecstatic melodies.Tracks are always evolving to shiny atmospheres, and rising with energy to a powerfull “daylight full-on” style, with some "pop" feelings, very groovy... perfect for sunny days!
