I heard that psytrance scene in mexico is having a very bad time with the government/police... is this true ? and if it is true, does it have anything to do with the USA ? ;-)

yes its true , but USA has anything to do with this situation , a lot of differents factors contributed, but the main problem started when some people from Sound sorcery made something wrong with the money earned at the time and space party , sound sorcery stores closed and time and space 2 party was cancelled .

One week later more than 1000 of people entered at the acid oz party without paying using the force breaking the doors , a lot of people finished at the hospital that day including 2 promoters from candy flip productions .

One week later at Guadalajara police broke into a rave searching every one for drugs .

Two weeks ago sound sorcery cancelled the dream quest party because of the acid oz and guadalajara factors .

If you want more info http://www.soundsorcery.com/dq.html and search for "ectrorave" at google.

I have just one more point wich i find very very important.

I am a psichedelic head, i really love the psychedelics but im really afraid that very unexperienced people is abusing like idiots of drugs, and i know its happening everywhere since long long time ago, but i can definetly see the changes that the parties particullary in mexico has been suffering lately.

People is getting absolutley like crazy animals cuz they want to enter without paying, and i really wonder if they like that much the dj playing that night (if they know him).

Last party someone got irrasonably violent, i saw two dudes doing an stupidly big amount of K (i know it was too much) and the dealers r every where now, everyone is a dealer now and that really suks!... I know those things have been there for a while now but im pretty shure that its never the same now...it feels more perverted to me.

IMHO, mexico is going in the way of learning a few lessons the hard way.

Im a junkie also, but i think that there is something called respect, integrity, autenticity, and even that trance plays big deal in our lives, u still need to have other interests besides, equilibrium.

A smell of trendy fashionism is gradually impregnating the "scene", but changes r happening gradually too,... I guess that the parties will be very different and will lead into a sadly 60X mail list and things like that.

I am nobody to judge that... i guess its bad, but who knows...

enlightment to us.

I fully agree with you. Too much people are abusing drugs and music is the less important things in a party.

Some people (and not a few ones) don't want to pay in the parties as if they didn't know that bringing foreign talent and organizing a party costs a lot of money.

It's very sad to see that some people in Mexico destroy what the like the most (in all aspects).

Yes things are getting worse, people is losing the respect, in every party you can see people entering the parties without paying with the use of force, and this is happening in "every" party the last time in the chaishop party, they sunk some trajineras (boat) people floating in all the lake, throwing bottles to the guys who where transporting the people to the island...

This is getting worse and worse... I agree with pesito we'll have to learn through the hard way, so seems...

Also it's incredible to see the quantity of people on drugs, but in a really bad state, that sucks, myself I use some drugs like lsd and the good weed but really i´m begining to dislike being in that state with all those people getting so agressive... all the spirit is being lost...

maybe the worst is about to come soon... = (

That way things would become more underground again, I hope so...

I agree with pesito and all of you, this is gettin' worse... and I'm very sad about it, because psy scene means much to me... , drugs are now more important than music, people don't even know the dj that is playing at the moment could be Shiva Chandra or Talamasca... I thought opening the doors to another people was not a bad idea but now i'm not so sure, anyway as you said seems it will become more underground I only hope this not means exclusion for some of us...

booom!
