Question to musicians

Guest asgaard

I have a question for those musicians among us who actually release records.

Do you have the wrong friends or why are most of your unreleased albums lying around on countless FTP servers?

Don't get me wrong, I also download stuff if I can, but nevertheless I believe to be a good guy who spends a major part of his paycheck for psytrance albums.

What I would never do is steel unreleased stuff from friends and release it on the net against their will....don't quite understand that :-[ Any ideas ?

Dude, thats simple question.

You are an artist. You have a friend. You give tracks to your friend. But your friend has another friend. And your friend gives your tracks to his friend. Your friends friend is not reliable, and than your track reaches the ftp's!

: )

If you could understand my explanation....

haha

I guess thats it.

Now... Talking about the ftps... anyone know a good one??

This is very simple:

if you dont want tracks to get loose on "countless FTP servers",

you just don't record your music to ANYONE.

lots of bands like INFECTED save their album-oriented tracks for themselves.

so you see it's quite simple.
