Basilisk Posted June 6, 2002 Share Posted June 6, 2002 i dont have the funds for travel and all these int'l psy events look sooooooooo good... but i'll be happy with what ontario has to offer - the OM festival! jeez you'd think with a name like that they'd have tons of goa but unfortunatly no... there isn't even a dedicated goa stage its just lots of other stuff... however! the atmosphere and spirit can't be beat and there's still some great acts that are gonna be there! SOLAR FIELDS! that should be very interesting.. i was introduced to them through this site and i like what i hear... it will make for a pleasant trip if anyone IS showing... i am playing on one of the stages and will be droppin 100% real goa, so that means old stuff and classics and true spiritual highs... hugh sharpe will also be here (not sure what he plays now) as well as toronto local subsonics chronic who cant get enough of that goa goodness so anyhow... it might not have the most killer lineup but it is going to be a hella wicked festival and just what i need - a bloody vacation! i'll be on site 3 days BEFORE the festival so if anyone's comin from other countries send me an email and maybe we'll hook up! peaze Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Basilisk Posted June 6, 2002 Share Posted June 6, 2002 hey fuzzhead! naw this year will be my first... it all came about when the final stages and lineup were being decided and a bunch of people spoke loud and clear that it was a crime that NO goa or psy was being featured this year... so the dub beautiful stage kindly offered to fill the gap! friday night - all night - you'll find goa and psytrance on their stage... not 100% sure whats happening saturday night yet but we'll find out! From seeing last years solipse video from Zambia (from www.solipse.com) I feel it is a pressuring need to go. The Samothraki Dance Festival looks amazing too though.
