Ormion Posted October 28, 2005 Share Posted October 28, 2005 I finally managed to make my first amateuristic track with Cubase SX but I have a big problem, pan doesn't work. For start I'm using the included VST's (a1,vb1,JX etc.) and I don't have problem with the drum VST's, pan works ok. But when it comes to the synths it doesn't. The mystery is that I discovered that pan works with the Neon and cs40 instruments but not with a1,vb1 and JX16. Another problem: Volume Automation doesn't works with the drum instruments! Guest Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Yes there is a difference and this is always quite confusing for Cubase beginners. There are 2 channel strips for each VSTi in the mixer. Most VSTi's don't react to volume or pan changes on their MIDI channel strip. It's best to hide all MIDI channels in the mixer (if you don't need them for external synths or so)....
