Dragonflier Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Old-school is a particular style of something, that is like it was when new. Not just the "old" adjective, but made in a similar way. 374569 Old-school is a description of how it was made back then. You can say that a new release has old-school resemblances, but it can't be old-school. Anyways, I think I know what you're meaning, I don't think we really disagree on this. What I'm trying to say is: If you could call new releases "old-school", the term wouldn't have much meaning anymore, would it? Quote
Guest Rain Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I don't think we really disagree on this. 374578 no we won't... Old skool is a genre but respect your opinion Quote
reger Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Evil mode you say. That I take as an invitation. Your post is so riddled with engrish I can't understand what the heck you mean by that quote. I mean... "you don't know the FUCK of what you're making GOA"... what does that mean? Come on. Old-school is a particular style of something, that is like it was when new. Not just the "old" adjective, but made in a similar way. 374569 i think he mean that what we make - that is - what we think in our heads is goa, thats possibly how it could be meant .
