HELP! midi controller and sx automation

does anyone know how to route a midi controller to an automation parameter? for example controller 74 to control a volume fader in the sx audio mixer, so i can record automation?

 

can anyone help?

You have to set up your external MIDI controller as "Generic Remote Device" and then map the parameters to the faders of the knobs using the "learn" button.
