Guest
Hi all, Haven't listened to any new Psy/Goa in about 4 years.. I'm looking for some new (last 2 years) releases that stand out as melodic stompers. I like all styles of psy/goa but in particular get the spinal chills from anything that is musically as well as technically full on, without making me think about it too much. Anyone suggest anything? rw

After that it becomes pretty stagnant and shit. Especillay avoid anything from Israel, Twsited Records, TIP World. They all went down the toilet like getting curryshits in India
Guest
Thanks Seraph and others for the suggestions.. i will track them down and check 'em out. As for everything sucking for the past 5 years.. might be why i am where i am and not chasing a dead dream. Or it could be that the attitude is the same that existed when i first started really partying to Goa/ in goa in 96.. The life leaves the listener and everythign sounds dead.. If this happens to you then run away. When life comes back so will you. Although sometimes music does just blow, And the whole idea of being moved by a bunch of electronically generated bleeps and farts becomes idiotic, shallow and not real. And looking at a head of dreads and another joint, another hit of DMT makes you want hurl. rw

Trance is the music of seekers, (and others for sure) traditionally a meta expression of truth. That's why i listened..
Guest
Well i havn´t read the thread so i don´t know if it´s mentoed allready but for melodic stuff i only recommend what releases on the labels tranceform and suntrip, from the new stuff i most like Ypsilon5. Only this 2 labels release high quality PSYCHEDELIC, not shit monophonic dark psy. But the 2 labels havn´t released much cd´s maybe 6 cd´s or so.
