We play live guitars, synths, tweak some effects and sometimes experiment with live percussion and voices. I'm mainly a guitar player and composer, and Syuls'nak3 is mainly drummer, synth player, dj and composer. We use 2 laptops, 2 guitars, 2 midi-keyboards and few extras. Hopefully in the future we can get a real drum set on stage, to return to the tribal essence We had 2 gigs already, but we decided to make a full review of our tracks. We play for 1 hour nowadays, going to 1h30 in the near future! We like to play as we are musicians for a long time, in very diferent projects. we are already looking for gigs in Portugal and abroad, as we will be ready for them in the end of November. It would be wonderful to go and play in your country my friend! Cybernetika Posted November 9, 2005 Share Posted November 9, 2005 "white magic" ... I absolutely love this tune, it has very original melodies. I love the high sharp sounds. However I think that the kick could have a little more bottom. I cant really describe it, but somehow it feels not to harmonize perfectly with the bass. Anyway, my fave among your tunes, a kickass tune! "matchu pitchu" ... also a very good sounding track. Overall the mastering is very good, but I'd like to hear the sounds less distorted. Try to reduce the overdrive on some of the synths if you applied any to them. Later on there is a high noise in the percussion that distracts a little. Probably some compression on the master channel could make your tune sound more as "one piece", because right now the sounds dont really seem like a unity to me... "it's all over" is then a very nice stomping tune. Great what you did with all the FX and the rythm. However I think in the end it gets a little too much "stuttering"... try to play around more with the gate. It will make it much groovier that way too. "the keepers" ... wow, nice dark atmospheres. I really really dig it. And the playful melody towards the end.. awesome!! Sounds kinda like the misted muppet to me, and you can consider that a great compliment. There are already little sound improvements that we made, i'm gonna update those previews in short time. All tracks seem to have good, weird psychedelic, quite professional sounding atmosphere. If you ever come to finland, you'll find me partying around.. Best wishes to you !
