Guest phaeton
ahh it's working now ... nice surprise to see spectral playing, 'diffuse' is imo one of the best albums that has been released during the last few years i'm also pretty curious what eat static will bring us live, should also definitely be interesting .. Guest Bor
Wow, Eat Static ... i used to be a big fan of these guys in the time of their Implant Album. Seen them live in Amsterdam once, cewl performance.
Guest Setsuko
now that's what i call an interesting line-up ... variation , great work Quasarta and i'm glad the biggest belgian psychedelic festival is being unique and not anymore going for major big names like AP , or Infected ... alternative psy at it's best ... ...next year Banco De Gaia ;-) ... that would be awesome but this year the line-up is perfect ... imo better than the previopus year which wasn't bad at all ... and the location ... well , very close to where i live , i'm used to this countryside surrounded by cows .. he he ... psy bye ! Anoebis
I got mixed feelings on one hand there are big names coming like Eat Static, but on the other hand the festival made a big name in Europe last year as "thé full on festival" and there's nothing left of that this year! I don't want to start the minimal/maximal discussion, but a little more full on/melodic stuff for a change wouldn't have been bad, surely not in Belgium where 70% of the people still love that kinda sound But well, you can never make everyone 100% happy of course! So Quasarta, good luck and I hope everything gets well! Bom Shankar
Guest Quasarta
Sorry Anoebis, What do you mean with full-on last year. IMO it was very minimal. This year we have all kinds of Psychedelia music. Last year we had GOA or PSY-TRANCE only for 3 days............ Senseblender is a Psychedelic gathering after all. Not a pure Goatrance festival. Like Setsuko tells us, back to the roots my friend. Do you want a GOA party number 45 in a row like it is in begium right now? Peace Q
Guest Jaimz
Anoebis.. Wizzy Noise, Junya and Mantiu are all very full on.. MOS and Mino are not really full on, but certainly not minimal. D-Nox is, in fact, the only minimal act on the lineup, unless the local Belgian DJs play minimal. All of the Dutch DJs on the lineup usually play pretty full on. So I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Guest StoNeY!
little disappointed with the line up, but that's probably cause last year's lineup was superb, and I guess I expected a little too much this year. Will it be good? Well, we can only say afterwards... I for one am not gonna let this gathering pass, I'll be there for sure :-)
Anoebis
Woow, Quasarta, read the review on this page! ;-))) All the people that came from France and Sweden told me that this was the most full on party in their history! And with acts like Logic Bomb, Infected, Texas Faggot,... you have to admit it was pure madness! :-))) And also dj's like Matt Boom played insane melodic stuff!! It's cool you have acts this year like Eat Static & Hypnotix, I think ambient is very underrated, and this should help! And you changed your borders, last year it was a goa-festival for 3 days, now a psychedelic festival, that's true! But there's not 1 melodic act, that's something that is missing here, surely if you want to go back to your roots! ;-)) And don't get me wrong, it's not ment as criticisem, it's just the way i see it!! And Jaimz, héhé, you were at Free the Fantasy, well, there were no dj's exept you that would have played Wizzy Noise, when I talk about full on I think about Matt Boom music!! ;-))) Bom Shankar! Guest Setsuko
sorry Anoebis but I have to agree with Quasarta ... to many parties are way to predictable here in Belgium .. they might be great for newbies but i got bored very quickly with the parties .. your PLUR 1 party was for me one of the last great goatrance parties i went to .. afterwards , full-on parties became boring (with an exception for DFL 1 ofcourse ) ... only a few organisers offered something new and fresh like AFU and AlienX , those were party that impressed me just like the Senseblender festival .. and if Senseblender would have anounced the same popular acts i would be disappointed a bit ... I want change and i'm proud that the biggest belgian psychedelic gathering is offering something unique ...
Anoebis
Well, we all know you were bored of it very quickly, but many 100's never did! I will never get tired of those mind-sweerping melodies, insane climaxes, screaming people & unity-atmosphere!! And like i said, I know Senseblender is giving us something new, and that's good, but to attract Belgian goa-heads you also need some more known names, not everyone is into the music like we are! ;-)) I mean, I just saw on goatrance.de that many people were going to Spain the same weekend, why do you think is that? Because there will play many "known" & melodic names! But like I also said, I really hope this party will be a succes because the loss he had last year is something nobody deserves! Ps; PLUR I was less good as PLUR II for sure... (because of the cops) Pps; AFU is not giving us something new, I have been going to their parties already 3.5 years ago, but their music changed in the mean time! Guest Jaimz
Hey, I think I did play Wizzy Noise! ;-) The crowd seemed to like it. ;-) Anyway, if, as you say, 70% of Belgians only like melodic music then perhaps it's time something like Senseblender started bringing them something different. Guest Setsuko
well , that was what I wanted to say .. AFU brings variation , and that's what I like ;-) their latest festival last weekend was very nice imo ... the only thing that bothered me is that Iz Ambra played all the to well known tracks during the night (from AP to Yahel to AP again :-( ) .. even Gowax surprised me with a very insane psychedelic set full crazy full-on tracks I never heared .. that's what I call creativity . btw , the cops were @ PLUR 1 too ???? anyway , nuf said ... August is gonna be one hell of a psymonth .. first Sensenblender , then Lunatic with Auticular and Bitmonx and then to Samothraki :-))))))))
