cubase step sequencer

i i just discovered the midi effect - step sequencer - and its just great.. a lot like reason matrix for vst intruments. problem is how do i export these sounds to an audio or midi track. i tried normal export and the write-record feature and still nothing. can u helpp

exporting the step designers content as a midi file does not seem to work, however the sequenced vst can be exported as an audio track.

 

1. Drop down menu "File":

2. select "Export":

3. then select "Audio Mixdown".

easy..............(right click on midi lane -> 'merge midi in loop' -> include send or insert ( depends where u ve put you midi step designer)... and you have it as midi......
