Guest yamil Posted June 12, 2002 Share Posted June 12, 2002 Well, for me it's a great line-up, with names like Talamasca, GMS, Skazi, Neuromotor, Space Tribe, The Zorba, Suria and Hux Flux for the full-on nights and progressive acts like Antix, Space Safari, Reefer Decree, Vibrasphere, Box of Frox and 12 Moons for the sunny and smiley mornings. Plus the contributions of Eat Static and Hilight Tribe, and newcomers Penta and Membrana. Also we'll be fortune to see and ear great dj´s like Bim, Dede, Pena, Phillip, Killian (XV Killist), Rocco, Tomek (Bigwigs). Maybe not so impressive as the Samothraki line-up but definatelly a great psychedelic festival in perspective, combining the experience of the Boom crew, the vibe (people who have been to the previous editions know's its has no comparision) and the unique location for this year's event. Guest Lurk Posted June 12, 2002 Share Posted June 12, 2002 I hate to say it, as much as I thought the atmosphere at Boom '98 & 2000 was excellent, the atmosphere on Samothraki last year was better, mainly , imho, because there was much less drugs. Boom in 2000 became more of an international drugs convention than a music festival, not that its bad thing, believe me I enjoyed it ;-) but there seemed to be more "natural" energy, provided mainly by the music on Samothraki. But.......for me...trance music...and festival...are in first....music...and music festival ! After....if u want apreciate it mutch more with ganesh, ohm, fluoro color, yoga, smile (yes it's better)....u can... .... but for me.....it's off topic Privilege music....it's better for the public than.....love and telepaty ! It'll be great to see u there at boom....but this year........i don't go to the boom--->it's the first year.. (96 + 98 + 00 : yes) Maybe one day...if i go to sevilla ! PS.
