Haldolium, the old CD's, extremely well.

Most prog I heard isn't very good. But i do like the minimal & subtile style sometimes, artists like Ghreg on earth & procs are very proggy in some way but concidered in another genre.

 

the "i'm-in-the-disco-shaking-ma-booty-kind-of-proggy" never really pleased my ears, it all sounds a bit to familiar & overdone to me.

 

but anyway, Haldolium got my vote, one of my top10 played CD's ever :)

It could be intersting to compare the results with the previous "best progressive act" poll.

At that time, Jaia had just released his album and got almost half of the votes.

If Ticon wins this time, that could show how quickly people change their mind IMO (but I'm not saying they don't deserve to win).

And I voted Human Blue.

If Ticon wins this time it could also depend on the fact that Ticon was not on that poll to which you posted a link + over half of the other top prog acts were also missing. :rolleyes:

Holy shit, you definitaly forgot Magnetrixx... One of the best acts out there I reckon.

so, tell me one Xdream release that is progressive..  :rolleyes:

they have electro/techy/ mixed with a bit of psy elements, but never pure prog ;}
