Guest Red Headed Stepchild
I have listened to Psy for over a Year now and have had some very spiritual moving experiences with this great music alone. Some songs like The Frog and Musica Divinorum and Symphonatic have had a deep emotional impact on me and will always be a part of me. BUT a few days ago I had an experience (AIDED BY A SUBSTANCE) that was nothing short of cosmic. I had just bought Trust in Trance OUTMOSHERES and I listen to to it for the first time while in the middle of this journey. I don't think that I can every listen to that CD now and not revisit that time of magic. Now do you think I should have listened in the perspective of ordinary reality first or the way I did it. Three songs from the album had a tremendous impact on me. One being song 1 from Abon Don it was so much like a door being opended whilst in the middle of my experience. Two being song 2 from Caribean Sunrise (From the Beginning) this song with it's vocals talikng about changing mind and body set off some amazing waves of energy through my very being. The third song that I felt a deep relation to was DOGSTAR. OH WOW I truly felt like I had met a new race of dog like beings. I mean I truly felt like a explorer on a new planet with intelligent "DOGS" and there was this strange feeling of companionship that you would get from a dog. Well this CD is going to be a part of me and I would like to know of some other peoples spiritual journeys with music. PEACE
Guest Raider
Wow, sounds like you're really into your music. That's nice... I usually have to listen to an album/compl. a couple of times before I get into it, and can take the journey. My best way to obtain complete travel through the music, is to lie on a sofa, put the music CD into a DVD, and listen to the music in heavy surroundsound. Closing my eyes makes it easier to travel to other "dimension" - while lying on grass and looking at the stars at night is just as good. Guest spacemonkey - 604
listening to music in the dark also really hightens teh "musical journey", your not distracted by everyday objects and the sounds take you away much more easily. Every time i listen to music in my darkened room i am surprised by the extra effect it gets.

Guest v4K
Same thing hapens to me while i'm playing...it's something undescripteble... The closest words to describe how I feel about psychedelic trance are from the movie Dune: "Some thoughts have a certain sound" and that's definitly the SH!T MAN!!! those sounds can only be describes as thoughts or something like that... Guest Mindtwister
I agree with Spacemonkey to 100%!!! When its dark and you are alone...Everything is focused on the music and nothing else, that means that it's easier to drift away!!!! Mmmmm! *drifting away* hehe btw, where you on acid that time Red Headed Stepchild ??? hehe..! Maybe LSD (thinking about the dogthing you talked about=) "Get Twisted..." //Mindtwister

Guest ks
so maybe now you know.. mind altering drugs... huh.. but dude be careful and use substances cleverly.... don't become a regular head.. because that will just fry your brain.... i am telling you, because i have seen it happen to people, and in the beginning it always starts with an amazing journey...so respect and be clever with substance use...
