Guest Protex Midget Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 well, if hasn't been getting psy for 6 months, then he has some catching up to do! I suggest you expose him to the latest styles and tunes, mixed on 2 cd's: 1st CD: Tech-Trance Pixel, Sesto Sento, PPS Project, Vaishiyas, DerEinstPunkt, Echotek... 2nd CD: ClubbyHousey Psytrance: Buzzmonx, Alegria, Shaman, Tegma, Slugger, Necmi... after listen to that, he'l be be up to date! Guest aaaah-ceeeeeed Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 10x for the help but i believe they'd be more interested in stuff that has a bit more melody but not too cheesy. any other suggestions? and before anyone says it, these are mix cds (i.e. me playing dj) not mp3 cds so it has very little to do with piracy. thank ya, again. Guest Protex Midget Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 well, then maybe you should try a mix CD with these artists: Astrix, Atomic Pulse, Altom, Spectrum (DJ Dede & Micha), Triac... Quote

Guest sam i am Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 Good Day sunshine ;-) 1. Younger Brother - Dwarves 2. Cyberbabas - 1st Revelation Part 2 3. Manmademan - Arabian Daze (a little old but funky arse) 4. Shakta - Don't Kick the Baby 5. can't remember the artist, think it's Cosmosis vs Orion or something old-school like that - "Psycho Problem" (from a comp on Phantasm or Psychic Deli or Transient or something from towards the end of last year) 6. Alien Project - "Ghost" (from the debut album) 7. GMS - dunno the track name, but it's the last one on the new album (No Rules) 8. Logic Bomb - the 3rd Revelation 9. Fly Agaric - "I See Myself" something like that maybe? Hope it's not too cheesey for ya. Kinda funky, pretty melodic, a little slower in general (mainly low 140s / high 130s I think), but it'd make me smile. a nice end too, with Simon P's girlfriend (I think) singing you out. Hope that helps :-) lotsa luv Sam Quote
Guest bugbread Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 Nice mix. Very common stuff, but perfect for someone who's been out of it. Quote
