Guest --==MileS==-- Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 I was thus far quite disappointed with the releases of 2002, being a melodic nutta and not a minimal animal, but then I spinned -Lemon Soul- of Zen Lemonade and I am impressed, for once... Dunno why exactly but this sounds so much better and exciting than the psystuff poured over us mortals lately although normally I am not 2 keen on the happy happy shine shine house and club influences in current UK psytrance, I already know this one is gonna get spinned to death this summer... Am I the only one blown away by the simple yet uplifting melodies of ZL or are more people (psyheads not clubheads) really digging the album? Opinions please cause I don't know if I am slowly growing numb liking this or that I am fully aware of the real world around me... Quote
Guest spacemonkey - 604 Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 they've got a track on mana medicine wich sounds good. It's the only one of them i know Quote

Guest dam10n Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 I think it's a good album/ Not stonking all the way through, but it's a more complex version of the old bang-it-out-piece-of-piss-easy 4-4 crossover prog psy stuff... I think they're sort of a john lennon & yoko of tramce, husband and wife with a lot of ideas (but not all of them work.) You're not alone - it's very good stuff. Quote
Guest guru sigma Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 it's pretty good, although i think it sounds like all the minimal that's been coming out this year... Quote
