Guest firgo Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 ok,i know few who didnt came here in Macedonia....: 1.GMS - man,the % of their showing/not showing up is ......5%????? 2.Miranda - Twice!!!!BUT she came at the new yaers eve...thanx for that! 3.Logic bomb - I have heard that he(J.Petterson) broke his arm the day before...maybe,but still he didn't came.....but,the party was awesome. Maybe there are others but i know only this 3....and its VERY frustrating when is happening,isn it?Sometimes is has some excuse,but still i dont like it! Your experiences????? Quote

Eat Static showed and DEFINETLY delivered... But the arrangers of the party forgot to clear Juno Reactor's percussionists' visum or whatever (don't know exaclty what it was...), so they were rejected at the airport - DAMN shame... I guess my point is, that often it's not the artists fault you're dissapointed, the arrangers have a big role to play. The same arrangers (of the EatStatic/Juno-party) took everybody for the proverbial "ride" at a GMS event as well - that was, as far as I know, not a mistake, he just figured: "Hey, let them think GMS is showing, and let's push some tickets..." Guest didge Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 GMS haven't rocked up here twice - the stories behind it were ubelievable - a promotor over here booked em once, paid em half in advance and their plane tickets and then they rang a day b4 the party to ask for more money to get out of mex! the promotor gave em a little more money to get here and they never showed - total lack of respect and professionalism. Guest bugbread Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Hmm...my guess is that it isn't related to the actual bands like 99% of the time. I say this because Juno has showed at every gig they've booked here, as has GMS (and it seems they play here every month). So it doesn't seem like the bands are flakey (is that an American only expression? If so, "unreliable"). Though, admittedly, they get paid a LOT of money to play here, which may increase some people's reliablity. NP: Entheogenic (good, but not as good as I expected) Quote
