It keeps growing on me with every listen... haven't had an experience like that for a looooong time now! Wow! Especially the second part... not in the mood for the night part.

Perhaps, especially since Family of Light was a sequel of sorts. But after I got my head out of my ass I ended up really liking it, and still do. Anyway, the emotion is the same. So nyeah.

To my ears it seemed every sound on the album fell within a very narrow frequency and consequently no melody, no beat, no hihat and no effect stood out. In terms of psy albums, it's probably the biggest disappointment I've experienced but I guess I was expecting another IFO. I got over it after a few years though, the therapy helped a lot.

I hear you. I was hugely disappointed too. But have you listened to Headspin or Meter lately? Oh god, that's some seriously good music, I have got to say.

 

I think there's something really odd that happens with follow-up albums. You get so attached to the first one that no matter how good a follow-up is it almost always feels like a betrayal.

for now i find it boring because since the whole FOL album was so weak [yes, weak] i only gave proper listen to those tracks i liked at first and because 7sisters is last track its obvious that i never managed to pay my whole attention to it since many previous tracks were just not worth that time .

well, judging by samples its not my cup of tea, i prefer derango over this then

BUT, it took some time for derango/sanatonic audio stuff to grow, so will check this one out .
