mars Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 i'm currently upgrading lots of proggies to their newest versions on the "Onde" server (www.onewayltd.com on the net. it's the server i have at home that hosts those forums and other things). there have seen lots of security issues adressed since january, so it's high time. so the forum will probably be off sometimes...and maybe you'll have an updgraded forum soon too !! mars Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 the apache+php+zlib+things upgrade was done last night. i cut the line 2 hours only. currently the kernel of the server is being recompiled, so there will be 1 reboot maybe this afternoon, and if it restarts, the forum will be upgraded just after that, and you wont be disturbed for that. mars Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 children got a phone call today : "....hey i have recompiled the server's kernel and i have no internet connection anymore.....can you remind me the howto page on defcon1.org please ?" just to tell the kernel recompilation fucked up totally today, which caused the 5-hour forum deadline. a few more moments and the upgrade will be 100% complete.
