Ormion Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Here's a new problem. The Autopan effect in Cubase doesn't work. I'm talking only for the pan parameter. I'm sure I made it work once but I can't anymore. All the automations buttons are active and the rest of the parameteres (expression for ex.) work fine. What I'm doing wrong? Quote
Philter Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 are you talking about a plugin, vst automation or a midi control change? im asking this because some virtual instruments dont respond to some control changes. (some to none) Quote
Ormion Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 ehmmm... I'm talking about the autopan midi-effect which is included in Cubase SX. Is it a plug-in? Dunno really, I'm a beginner you see. The weird thing is that I managed to work with it once but it doesn't work now, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Quote
Philter Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 well a midi-effect is based on a midi control change in this case pan (midi controller 10), as i said not all virtual intruments respond to control changes. try linking the midi track to another instrument and see if it works for example vb1, ive just tried it and it works, to my amazement it dint work with the a1...funny that..... qa2pir Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 A small question: What is this "expression" that you talk about, Ormion? Quote
Ormion Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 A small question: What is this "expression" that you talk about, Ormion? 410193[/snapback] It's a parameter in the Autopan effect, also in the automation tracks. I'm not sure I undestand the difference between 'high' or 'low' expression. In conclusion I have no idea Quote
