Oopie
For me there's only 2 releases I can truely say are as close to perfect as they can be in my opinion. Not 10/10 though since no music is 100% perfect. Eat Static : Abduction Abduction and LDC : Plasma Plasma 407424[/snapback] hey I gotta check out what LDC is about... if it's even half as good as "abduction" it's already a masterpiece thanks for the tip
phatpat
I rate very highly every track on these albums: Cosma - Non Stop The Delta - Scitzoeffective Younger Brother - Flock Of Bleeps Future Prophecy - Concept of Love X-Dream - Irritant Midimiliz - Non Standards VA - Chronika Chapter 2 Abakus - That Much Closer To The Sun
Stalker
This thread proved that there is a psynews stereotype Dont you understand that Billy and Jimmy had left our music for our sins ? I must say, that the list that contaims the most impressive music in my eyes is the very list above me, from phatpat My 10/10 albums would be: Spirallianz- Stereopark Nerve- No fokus X-Dream- Radio Midi Miliz- Passages The Delta- Scitzoeffective Cosma- Simplicty Ghreg On Earth-Sigilweaver
abasio
Don't think anything is really 10/10 although a lot come close
Guest antic
[Twisted] Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger [Transient] Cosmosis - Synergy [TIP] Psychopod - Headlines EP [Twisted] Prometheus - Robot-O-Chan [Twisted] Younger Brother - A Flock of Blips [Organic] Voice of Cod - We Are Free hehe, VoC album doesn't really fit there because it's label name does not start with "T", but what the heck
Guest antic
Can people grasp the idea that 10/10 album is an album where there isn't single second you'd change? 10/10 album is an album where every track is equally good as they all have to be 10/10 tracks that the album would be 10/10. I do not agree - it's impossible to make an album where all tracks are equally good, though it's possible to make one with all bad tracks There are always favorities, but for me the main idea of 10/10 is that you like all the tracks and all are very good - you do not skip anything while listening to it. It's imortant for the music to feel like one, it should be consistent (however not the same / similar, if you know what I mean) and it should be positively different from other releases or at least be the best in the genre / sub-genre. IMO [off-topic] I can't concentrate when I read your posts oopi. Wonder why?
Jikkenteki
For me a 10/10 isn't about not having every second perfect (not possible), but rather about being an album that I will listen to and enjoy from front to back for most likely the rest of my life. In that regard it is hard for me to say whether anything released in the last couple will stand the test of time, but for me my classic albums would probably me... Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger Shpongle - Are You Shpongled Cosmosis - Synergy X-Dream - Radio Infected Mushroom - B.P.Empire Hallucinogen - Twisted Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom Of more recent vintage the ones that look like they will probably stand the test of time for me are... Psysex - Hardcore Blastoff Younger Brother - A Flock Of Bleeps Psysex - Come In Peace Vibrasphere - Lime Structure As for classic tracks that is a whole different discussion, but for albums these are the ones that come to mind for me. X-scream
Planet B.E.N. - Trippy Future Garden (Polytox Records) These are close to 10/10: Ra - To Sirius If it weren't for "Signs of Life" which is so so.. Chi-A.D. - Infinitism Sub-atomica and Purity aren't very good compared to the rest. Change these for tracks like Biocandy, Astral Warrior or Healing Magic and it's a 10/10 Talpa - The Art of Being Non (Sundance Records) Exceptional album, but it's just something about, a 'feeling',that keeps me from giving it a 10/10.. These are also close to 10/10 (5/5 on discogs) X-Dream - We Created Our Own Happiness (Tunnel Records) Hallucinogen - Twisted (Reissue) (Twisted Records) Etnica - Tribute / Astral Way (Blue Room Released) Phreaky - Tornado / Paranormal Activity (Dragonfly Records) Virtuart - Time Cruncher (Koyote Records (UK)) X-Dream - This (Tunnel Records) 1200 Mics / Talamasca - The Secret Of The Thirteen Crystal Skulls (TIP.World) Etnica - Starship 101 / Full On (Blue Room Released) Filteria - Sky Input (Suntrip Records) Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Rock Bitch Mafia (Nova Tekk Ganesha) Psyko Disko - Psycho Disco (Psy-Harmonics) Psyko Disko - Psycho Disco (Psy-Harmonics) Various - Psychedelic Goa Core 2 (Fairway Records) Various - Psychedelic (Tua Records Nova Tekk 3D Vision) Various - Order Odonata 3 - The Technical Use Of Sound In Magick (Dragonfly Records) Witchcraft - Magic Frequencies EP (Matsuri Productions) Astral Projection - Ionized / Kabalah (Transient Records) Hallucinogen - In Dub (Twisted Records) Shiva Chandra - Illegal Illusion (Spirit Zone Recordings) S.U.N.
