I am unsure of the usefulness of this exercise as an indicator (even as a loose one) of the popularity (or the worthiness) of last year's music. But I suppose it is interesting to see what has struck the emphatic chord of my fellow trancesters.

it won't be a real indicator for sure. we had 86 participants in this thread .. i wouldn't call it relevant for the scene .. i'm not sure if it will be 100% relevant for the "psynews" area of the scene. at least these 86 participants come from different areas of the world .. and that makes it more interesting to me.

but for those who got involved in this exercise, it will be interesting to see the output.

Guess I'm too late but for the record I completely forgot Cosmosis. For some reason I thought Transcendance was a 2004 release. Anyway, my actual top 5 is:
