moni Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Yes. How many releases did you BUY in 2005? Come on people, please vote. I am curious to see how the market is going. At least on psynews. This thread doesn't have the purpose to praise the people who buy music, or to judge the people who download music. Also, i would like to ask you not to start debates on buy/download music, don't make financial comments (show off or complain), or comments about the quality of the releases in 2005. Also, if you need more options in the poll, please tell me and i will edit/improve this poll. Yes, feel free to participate. Thank you! Quote
Mutilated_Core Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Actually, I havent bought any records. I`ve burned them from friends or downloaded them. I am spending my money mostly on clothes or LPs. And festivals. Quote

Ov3rdos3 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 You see OD - CD buying makes ur ass broke... 409428[/snapback] oh i know that. i bought quite a few cd's last year. i used to budget for it though. Quote
moni Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 should i add more options in the poll? Quote
Insejn Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 No. Only DP and Ukiro (maybe) got more than 100 records Quote
moni Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 ok, i modified the poll a little. if anyone needs to change their vote, like DP or OD i think, let me know. Insejn, also Astro cortex buys a lot. and a few more people. Quote
Tatsu Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I've voted for 101 - 150 records. I don't have a clue how much I've actually bought but when you count every 12" seperatly plus the used stuff I've bought plus the new albums this might get around that. Maybe I've only bought about 70 or 80 new items. I really can't tell... Quote
Maden Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Available for 2005 release only or not ? ... cause it's 4 album bought for the year but more older release for me. Quote

Guest Elysium Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I bought ZERO music in 2005.. I downloaded it all Quote
Tox Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I voted 16-20. 2 new thingies/month It should be about that as far as the new releases go. Although the total amount of psy-cd's I bought 2nd hand or traded is probably closer to 50-60 ;-) Quote
Tatsu Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Oh, I included the traded and used items in my vote. It's hard enough to think about how much I've spend without separeting used and new stuff. Quote
zaib Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 i have about 60 cd's released in 2005, and i bought at least half as many released in other years, so i guess i must have bought around 100 cd's Quote
Maden Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Ok, thanx for fast replies, so i bought about 15 albums this year Quote
Frontier Psychiatrist Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Around 30 i think, can't be sure. Quote
Charlie Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I think between 100 - 150 but only a quarter of those were trance albums, mainly folk, rock and blues. Oh, and classical. Quote
X-scream Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I don't know exactly but I voted 100-150 Quote
Tox Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 OK, I'm a nerd: I went through my disocgs & counted 1 by 1: 24 new psy-cd's 28 traded, second hand or free psy-cd's 6 (SIX ) non-psy-cd's adds up to 58 new titles in my collection... Quote
