Bahamut
Arabic chill track I've been working on: http://people.zeelandnet.nl/rverpl/Bahamut%20-%20Caravan.mp3 It's short but I don't know if I'll continue with it. Anyway, I had fun while making it. Enjoy!

Bahamut
Thanks. The synth patch consists of a filtered saw + clarinet sample, thought it sounded like some sort of arabic instrument hehe
Cosmic Cat
Kinda basic, but I like the vibe of it.....

McKoy
Kinda basic, but I like the vibe of it..... 419482[/snapback] It's indeed "kinda basic" but oriental music is most of the time basic IMO, so you did an excellent job with tis track . You just need to make it a little bit longer, and also make it sound a little bit less synthetic if ou see what I mean (use a different reverb, use the pan for your drums and shaker, and if possible use more real instument samples). Actually I must say that I've been trying to make such kind of music recently and I'm really impressed by your work and particulary by the melody that start at 2min10. I hope you will continue with it and post the result here.
Bahamut
McKoy thanks for the comments, very much appreciated. The sound of it could be more natural and 'open' indeed. I improvised the melodies on the keyboard. I will get back to the track sooner or later. If you're working on something similar I'd love to hear!
