Cinos
I'm not sure all those classify, but whatever. Personally I think all of them were (and are) pretty goddamn overrated. Not one is consitently enjoyable, though Phosphorescent comes the closest. As a semi-note, 3D is the worst.
Guest antic
I too voted Phosphorescent, however 3D is very close I personally hate some of the tracks from the first two (Yellow & Orange), like Mandragora, Einstein or Voodoo People... Jikkenteki
What about Clear (Mu), Purple and Red? (and Black too, although that is just Japanese version of Phosphorescent)

I actually like Voodoo People a lot. What I don't like from Orange was Total Eclipse's "A Little Bit of Heaven"

WTF they are as much colours as '3D' !!
Tatsu
I haven't heard all the comps (but most tracks from it) and Phosphorescent is my favourite so far. 3D is interesting.
Jikkenteki
Ah yes, I forgot White too. As for where they are on Discogs... http://www.discogs.com/release/329479 http://www.discogs.com/release/329477 http://www.discogs.com/release/329473 http://www.discogs.com/release/327218 http://www.discogs.com/release/329468 http://www.discogs.com/release/312888 I personally don't make much of a difference between the (now) three incarnations of TIP. Same people, the only difference is the bookwork.
Cinos
Well, they aren't released on TIP, they're weird Japanese re-releases or something. Just go with the current options!
Jikkenteki
Well, they aren't released on TIP, they're weird Japanese re-releases or something. Just go with the current options! 419862 The catalog numbers don't say TIP, but everyother detail on them says clearly TIP Records and if you look in the jacket of the "TIP The Story" double cd they are shown in with all the other TIP releases so it seems clear to me that the label in question considers them their own releases, which is good enough for me. But to each his own...

Just go with the current options! 419862 Yes agreed. Nevertheless they are released in co-operation with TIP and aren't really re-releases. Also, if you look at Graham, it is a substantially different comp.

Also, if you look at Graham, it is a substantially different comp. 419867 Funny that this got taken this far as I made the first post as a joke. Anywho, the "released in co-operation with TIP" was just a discogs listing thing. The Japanese versions say on them "TIP Records", the copyrights are TIP Records, etc. From my understanding the "Nippon Crown" bit was purely a business thing as when these were released it was difficult for a non-Japanese label of some minor underground dance music to get any real distribution in Japan at the time, so to work around that you just had a Japanese label print it for you. Matsuri did the same thing and I guess you could even say its still the same with Solistic releasing just about everyone's albums here with their own catalog number. I consider them alternate versions more than anything. Anywho, the whole discussion started a joke in the first place so....
Charlie
I think Phosporescent and Beyond Colour are on par but voted for Phosphorescent as it holds happier memories. I'd say Blue is the worst though it's still pretty good.
Maxx
i only have the blue and 3d,so i vote for blue, its got some really good trax on it.
Basilisk
It's so hard to choose - I dig them all... TIP is where it was at! The development is unparalleled.
seraph
I like them all, in the end it is TIP, and old TIP was amazing...Blue and Phosphorescent are the best of all of them...
qa2pir
Only heard Yellow, Phosphorescent and a bit of Blue, so far Blue seems best.
