Transient/Automatic Recs
TRANSIENT RECORDS.RE OPENING 2006 Transient Records was founded 1994 in West London as one of the first pioneering Trance labels of its time. The ethos of the label then (which has carried on to the present day) was to release cutting edge, ass-shaking, dance-floor monsters for clubs and parties throughout the world. After over 100 singles and 50 albums Transient has proven that quality above all else provides longevity. Transient has worked with many top acts including Cosmosis, Slide (Now part of the Corburn project with Tim Healy), Astral Projection, Eskimo, Talamasca, Orion, Silicon Sound, Wizzy Noise, Quirk(Ex Project of Tim Healy), Atmos, Son Kite, Logic Bomb, Astralasia and many more. To maintain their passion for other styles Transient opened a sister label ‘Automatic’ which is now highly acclaimed and supported by the likes of Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Pete Tong and Sasha to name but a few. Automatic is best known for releases from such artists as Cass and Slide, Tim Healy of Electric Tease and Coburn fame, Spincycle and more recently Kruger and Coyle. Transients next release ‘Resurrection’ (compiled by Head of A&R, Kristian) will be hitting the shops early 2006. It will include tracks by Dino Psaras, Interaction, Triptych, Star X, 2 Hi (from Brasil), Freakuliser, Fortu, M klome v Dj Kristian, and a blistering collaboration between Rizzo from Dark Soho and Dj Kalimamboh from newcomers Dejavoo. This will be followed by a Day and Night album (highlighting the best tracks played in the night time madness and morning tranquility of an outdoor party). Also coming in 2006 will be another installment of the classic chill out series Mashed Mellow Grooves and a couple of artist albums. Enjoy the sound Greg Coyle – Label Boss Kristian-DJ/A&R.
