Slammered
Could anyone tell me what I need to get two PC monitors to work with XP.. I want to be able to display Cubase on one & sound editing stuff on the other without having to alt-tab.. My Adapter is apparently compatible but not sure what I need to do.. **edit** did I mention :- 1 is an Nvida Geforce , the other is on board AGP.. I also have a few other PCI graphics cards floating around... If I do this will the PC's performance Suffer?? Regards Slam
Philter
just got two 17" two days ago after having worked for a year with only one monitor .... i have nvida as well (single head) and an old pci card, works fine. right click on your desktop, last option in the drop down menu something like propertys (i have a german operating sys). then in propertys choose the last menu from left. there you can select which card is primary and which secondary. for the secondary card chose "extend desktop"....
