Production is pretty good man, nice levels, synths aren't pro or anything but certainly mixed and FXed good 2:25 - dude thats a terrible build up, very awkward, I would't do that there or drop out everything like that, a pad could help smooth things out very much. Otheriwse the music is full-on like you say, nothing stands out very much but then again I'm not a big fan of full-on, so excuse my bias
