Psytrance in Germany?

i was wondering about the psytrance scene in germany because i'm willing to move there for a while. where's the center of things? berlin? can anyone give me detailed information? parties? record stores? labels?

hamburg is the place to be in germany, i think. definatly the north.

yepp, it's the north, especially hamburg. but the eastern part and berlin are catching up. and in the south there's also a small, cosy psy scene with connections to swizerland (basel).

It`s hamburg if you like groovy and housy psytech. In the east of germany

( leipzig) you have more full on stuff, in berlin you have a lot of small family parties with different music. In the south of germany you have often problems with the cops.

It's either the north around hamburg or the south. I live in the south of germany at the border to switzerland wich is great seeing the swiss have really good partys every weekend and then there is freiburg with kv killist and of course munich where the cosmophilia record label has it's club called nantraj temple. I've never been far up north beacause I havent heard of any good partys between us down here and hamburg or berlin. But instead of moving to germany I'd go to switzerland, the partys(quite often in the alps) are amazing and verry well organised and the scene there is verry hippie like and tollerant. (plus--if you smoke pot, it's as good as legal, I think it's only two years untill the government will give permission).
