Does anynone know if the lyrics come from a movie or something or were they made specifically for the track?

By the way, I love this song...

What about the part when they say "Mescaline, the only way of flying" or something like that?

Yup, that's from Matrix also, you remember, in the beginning when the bunch of nerds go visiting Neo and Neo spots the rabbit-tattoo on that one chick's arm/belly/other body-part, that Mescaline-thing is said by the dude when they see themselves out (or some crap like that anyways).

well, originally, it's "1001 arabian nights" which queen scherezade told her husband the king, whose name I can't remember. but it was something about her telling him these amazingly captiating stories- 1001 of them, which she would stop just before the climax and continue the next day. that way he kept her alive (don't know why he wanted to kill her in the first place...I think he was in the habit of killing his brides after one night or something. I was 9 when i heard the story, so the details are a bit foggy).

but the gms track is "arabian knights on mescaline".

on a different but related subject, I just found out yesterday that "do androids dream of electric sheep?" is the title of an old sci-fi movie...

ok, time to leave for belgium...party time!!

well yeah, some of the samples are from matrix movie... but also are from a tv program, the SIMPSONS, ja yes the episode when homer wants to capture an et that finally is mr burns! the part in the track is after exploding with the mescaline things then there is something that saids like "dont be afraid" an after that "Yaaaaargh!". maybe you could recognize it. and from the reply above, "do androids... ", yes it is sci-fi but not from a movie it is from a novel written by philip k dick, that novel inspired the writers of BLade runner to make it. well and thats not tthe unique novel from him taken to the movies also you could remember one from arnold and sharon stone "revenge from the future" or something like that, is also from a book of philipp k dick.

thanx, hach. I came back here to correct myself but you already did. bladerunner was based on phillip k. dick's "do androids...?" and the other one you're referring to is "total recall". and now, "minority report" with tom cruise.
