While I was waiting to post this info until after the funeral, word of mouth has spread and this has already hit Isratrance i figured it should be posted here as well. Last week Shinnosuke Masuo, formerly one half the Japanese group Phi and more recently working under the name Symphonics, passed away in Goa. He was there on an extended vacation and was killed in a scooter accident.

Rest In Peace my friend.

I don't know much about this guy but I feel sorry for his relatives and friends. It's hard loosing somebody you love. :( May he rest in peace!

how unrespectful, I would say Shinnosuke part I!

Rest in peace, I enjoyed your album!

Well if it isn't my friend from Belgium :)

My god you must really dislike me, to post such remark in a thread like this?

They both died way to soon & in exactly the same way: a motorcycle accident in Goa.

To put it in your own words, maybe you aren't "smart" enough to post about things you know nothing about?

Sad indeed... His music was indeed special and over the weekend I gave the Phi album a couple of spins in memory of this guy... May he rest in peace...

Tis a shame.

I am extremely fond of Phinalizer. Perhaps not as popular (apparently...) as trash like Khetzal and Derango, but I think it was a fantastic release and one of the highlights of 2004 for myself.

RIP. Plz pass me beer & acid indeed!
