Hi people, as always i need you'r help !

SO i installed windows XP and now i want to remove it .... i can't just format because when i go to dos or boot from disket (or cd-rom) all my hard-disk dissapears: there is no c: or d: or even cd-rom e: ....

PLEASE help me, i need my old windows 98 ;-(

That's what happens when you use illegal software. Muhahaha! Poor you!

Use a Win98 boot disk(not a dos one) and delete all the partitions and then recreate them. Then format and install win98. XP uses a different file system to win98. You can also try Partition magic or the old Delpart.exe as well. Good Luck!!!

A partition is an area on your harddisk which has it's own drive letter.

So one harddisk could have, say 3 partitions with the letters C:, D: and E:

go buy a new harrd disk and install linux.prefferably mandrake 8.2 preety easy for begginers. then u want have such problems. www.linuxiso.org
