Guest Jaimz Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 From the disco-house sounds of Mixture, to this.. Iboga Records - Ectoplasm With this compilation Iboga Records are proud to present the first compilation from the label in the more full on styles. We have collected fine samples from various artists around the globe, ranging from Sweden to Israel, Israel to UK, from UK to Canada and so on. The CD includes two licensed track from Mino and BLT, both tracks are chosen from their new albums releasing soon on Transonic Records and HOMmega Productions. From BLT You can expect future releases on Iboga Records as well, a killer EP is on the way after the summer. For the first time we can present Danish Orion on Iboga Records, this fat track will be followed by a 12" later this year with two morning tunes. Electric Vendetta is as well a new Danish project by Daniel Segal, in co-oporation with Frank E, from the legendary Kox Box and Saikopod. This is the full on CD people have been waiting for from Iboga. Track list and sounds samples available at Saiko Sounds, and should be in stock there in a couple of weeks. Quote
Guest ks Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 great news!!! Iboga and its label djs have one weakness, that they are one dimensional in their song selection.... so diversifying their music is a step in the right direction Quote
Basilisk Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 AWESOME... and ah well i guess the concept of ectoplasm isn't copywritten at least they do justice to the name if its really gonna be as good as it sounds! Quote
Guest aje Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 bOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhh, sell-outs, how could they?????????????? Quote
Guest UBS Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 I dont really think much of Fly by Mino plus its been released-already a bad sign! Quote
Guest eCactus Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 This is a very unfortunate development. This will be the first Iboga compilation in a while that I will not want to hear. Quote
Guest Setsuko Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 hmmmmmmmmmmm .... strange , i dunno this compilation sounds weak and lame .. except for the POTS track where Mixture was about exploring new areas this is about copy / paste intention imo ... i dunno ... Iboga had a very fresh style , this direction gives me mixed feelings ... psy bye ! Quote
