Lauryn Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Which albums or compilations have the best (read: most original) beginning (first part of track 1) or Introduction track? Thoughts? Quote
dmtree Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Peak records compilations have nice chill intro tracks, I like those. Quote
Icarus Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I find Ott's Blumenkraft intro great! It starts as the dude is in a crappy party then suddenly enter his car and starts to listen to great music. Quote

Icarus Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I know what tune the blumenkrafts are singing (I think that its them), but i dont remember the name of it.. Btw, other than that i think most intros are usually dull Quote
GaySatanicHippie Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 i still think the intro to Fill the Hat, the trackl first of atmos - headcleaner, is the coolest ever. Quote

I also like the intro on Entheogenic - Spontaneous Illumination very much! Quote

Oopie Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Simon "the goad of goads" Posford's "Twisted" of course just has to mentioned (like it has been ). I'm also quite fond of Pigs In Space's "Pigs In Space" Quirk's "Machina Electrica & Fornax Chemica" Quote

mind.breeder Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Ali ibn Rachid - 1 Juno Reactor - Labyrinth Future Prophecies - Warlords Rising Tripswitch - Circuit Breaker Chicane - Behind the Sun Quote
Charlie Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Hallucinogen's Twisted does indeed feature a fabulous opening sequence though I prefer The Lone Deranger's as it's beautifully trippy and really creates the atmosphere that you're entering a whole new dimension. Younger Brother's Flock of Beeps is another opening sequence I like, again very psychedelic, oh and Ott's Hallucinogen In Dub where the ticking clock slows down. Brilliant. Quote
Oopie Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 oh and Ott's Hallucinogen In Dub where the ticking clock slows down. Brilliant. 438199[/snapback] you just made me listen to it, bloody gourgeous way to start an album, indeed indeed. It sounds so majestic... it sounds so... eh, Simon Pos-goad. Quote
RTP Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 The intro track of Carbon Based Lifeforms' Hydroponic Garden, Central Plains, is absolutely great too BTW Quote
